Painting Through the Plague

So, I’m here with a bunch of new drawings and paintings and collages executed since the beginning of the COVID lockdown. The challenge is, as always, to observe, to grow, to change. I begin and then begin again. This work is about staying in this moment and being present without attachment to outcome. To just look for what’s next.

Is this COVID work new, relevant, relatable - “good”? Who the hell knows. I painted all of this stuff. I learned some things about painting a different way. I learned some things about myself. I did my part, now the paintings find their way out in the world.
