“IT IS AS IT IS” SERIES

International Group Exhibition at The Art House Gallery

    Curated by Rebecca George

    October 1-November 30, 2022

    PRESS RELEASE

    TIME

Time is a fluid concept, experienced as many moments in one's life. We reflect on the past and anticipate the future: time can be felt as dragging on when we want something different than we have and time can seem to be fleeting when we have an experience we want to hold on to. It takes time to learn, create, behold-- yet, simultaneously, time can be understood as an illusion, because it is always only THIS MOMENT and can never not be this moment. This theme seeks to attract work from artists who connect with the concept of ‘time’ in some aspect(s) of their art and to present a diverse compilation of these interpretations from creatives all over the world.

    Participating Artists:

    Sarah J. Berman

    Kathy Blankley Roman

    Stasi Bobo-Ligon

    Georgie Cunningham

    Susana Edith Goyeneche

    Ken Hogrefe

    Rick Hurst

    Kevin McGoff

    Hannah Seki

    Daniel Martin Sullivan

    Steven Tritt

    Amy Vidra

    Ginger Ware
