A simple line drawing on a wet surface allowing for intentional unintended results. Line variety and weight are intuitively drawn in a loose gesture. The title implies something everyone does whether it’s practical, spiritual or in my case artistic. There are no boundaries in a search so it stands to reason there is no boundary, or outline, of the figure. Search is nebulous and is represented by the smoky atmosphere created by the charcoal reacting with the water.
