There's aggression in this painting, accented by the black and white palette as the theme shifts in the "Legacy" series.  Dripping paint, violent scratching, aggressive paint strokes, and a conflict between a passively unmarked area and the painterly charged area.  Charcoal and watered-down black paint make up the first layer which was scraped into after the layer dried.
