This painting was inspired by the complex relationship between our inner self and politics. It is the first time I incorporated news media into my painting (adhered to initial layer of the painting, in the upper right corner). I-Thou has a tendency to "pull you in" because of the multiple layers, dark colors, and a diverse use of line throughout the artwork.
