Description: 

Resurgence is to rise again or return: in the context of this auction, it is to reintroduce key artwork from the past. Artists often select their newest work to present in exhibitions and over time, a plethora of older pieces emerge that have stood the test of time and have often grown in importance as its significance across a career of painting is revealed. This auction presents three works by each artist that meets this criteria and provides the work with another opportunity to connect with an audience.
