Neutrals are visually pleasing and easy for the eyes to process as well as creating a sensation of restfulness. Because a neutral color lacks saturation it takes no effort for the eyes to observe it. Neutrals evoke a feeling of mood and quality of light that is unequaled. They also create interest and provide subtle but important variation for fine art pieces.
